Metro Launcher is now available on your Android device. This launcher allows you to manage your homescreen in a unique Metro design, inspired by Windows 8 Modern UI®.

Free-Version Restrictions:

The free version of Metro Launcher comes with some limitations. Widgets are not available in the free version, and any personal adjustments you make will be restored after 15 minutes. If you want to remove these limitations, you can purchase the Pro Version from the Store.

• How can I start this app?
  - Metro Launcher is a launcher, so you can simply start it by pressing the home button and selecting this launcher. If you have already set another default launcher, you'll need to clear the default configuration in your settings first.
• How can I add apps to the homescreen?
  - Open the app drawer by clicking on "Start". If you long-press on an app, you can add it to your homescreen by selecting "Pin to Start".
• How can I open the settings of this app?
  - There are two ways: you can either open the charmbar and select settings, or click on the account in the top right corner and select "Settings".
• How do I rearrange tiles?
  - Swipe vertically on a tile to rearrange them. You can only swap two tiles of the same size.
• How do I customize tiles?
  - Long-press on a tile and a bar will appear at the bottom where you can configure the tile.
• How can I open the Charmbar®?
  - Simply slide your finger from the right screen edge to the middle of the screen on the homescreen. The Charmbar® will then appear on the right side.
• How can I reach all my apps?
  - There are a few methods: you can click on "Start" in the top left corner of the homescreen, or open your Charmbar and select "Search" or "Start".
• Where is the desktop?
  - We don't provide any kind of Windows Desktop because this launcher is focused on the Metro Modern UI®.
• How can I uninstall this launcher?
  - Go to your settings, select this application, and uninstall it.

• Can this launcher handle multi windows?
  - No, this functionality is not supported in our launcher.
• Can it run Windows 8 apps?
  - No, this is an Android launcher designed to replace the homescreen.
• Why don't you make it like the original Windows 8?
  - We don't want to clone Windows 8 for Android, but rather provide the Metro interface for your Android homescreen. There won't be a desktop implementation, and not every functionality can be provided because this is not Windows 8.1®.
